About David Pine

David Pine I was born in Tucson and raised in Midland, Texas. I currently live in Midland and part-time in Austin. I discovered my passion for photography while in the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. I developed my own black and white film and was mesmerized by the images I could create. After serving seven years, I was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant. With new priorities in mind, I was busy making my life and had to set photography aside. I came back to photography in 2011 and entered the digital era with a passion. I retired as president of a communications and internet company which helped me develop the skills to deal with the complexities of pixels and data. I specialized in Architectural and Real Estate Photography and I love all other aspects and genres of photography. Recently, I was recognized in the Texas Standard of Austin as a favored top 10 Landscape Photographer in the State of Texas. I am amazed that I can capture a millisecond in time that is truly special.
